About me

I was born and raised in Humboldt County, Ca. Met my local husband, at the local bar, and had one hell of a local wedding. I live a life dedicated to my four children, my husband, my family, my two dogs, and am learning to include myself. I love writing meaningful words that create powerful sentences you can see without closing your eyes. I also love romantic comedies and the way they feed the “feel good” part of us. But what I love the most is mixing those two feelings together to create and capture your story in real time. I didn’t grow up with an undying passion for photography.

One day I woke up and found myself at a crossroad or in the middle of an identity crisis… Whatever you want to call it. I thought about the simple things in my life that made me happy. So, I pulled out my camera, drove down the highway, and took as many photos as I could click. I captured nothing, but rocks, trees, grass, and flowers. What I soon realized is that I wasn’t capturing “nothing”. In all truth, I found exactly what I had been looking for. I needed an escape, a therapy, a passion, and something that gave me full permission to love without boundaries. I found that here in photography and I haven’t put my camera down since.
